Austin is blessed with several "bike night" gatherings for motorbike enthusiasts. The hot spot on the south side of town is Thursday evenings at Twin Peaks, situated at the corner of Stassney Lane and the IH35 southbound frontage street.

The loos and products are downstairs in a narrow hallway. There is a pretty large front flooring region, and then a small elevated area in the back with the bar. It is usually overcrowded and I find that the staff associates are usually impolite. It is possible to be a safety guard and not be impolite. For the most part, this is a 21 and up club, even though many exhibits are all ages. For the under 21 crowd, there is a two drink (as in non-alcoholic) minimal, and I think beverages are like $3. It's kind of ridiculous. I will see shows here only if it is a band I really want to see, and only if they are not taking part in anywhere else in SoCal.

In addition to that includes an artist, Tom will give a little background on each song he plays on the show. For occasion he performed Statesboro Blues by Taj Mahal. It is a nice spot for some cheap beverages and a mellow night. If it's not as well scorching the "Beer Garden" out back again is a nice place to see Live Music, comedy, or just dangle out on picnic tables. I extremely suggest going there on "Smiths Night" to see a few dozen Morrissey appear-a-likes. It's intriguing.

For a components man, Henry had a real love for, of all things, Botany. At the age of 40 he retired and devoted the rest of his life to journey and learning vegetation, bringing all kinds of exotic plants from about the world to St. Louis. He donated land around his home to what would later on become Tower Grove Park, and much more land along that which would ultimately turn out to be the globe well-known Missouri Botanical Garden. He also set up a department of Botany at Washington College and assisted set up the Missouri Historic Society.
